Q CPD for nurses

1.  Do you know what dental nurses CPD requirement is per year and is this within practice time?  Since the registration of nurses has taken place how will CPD be organised? Also what fee will dental nurses have to pay to be registered?
A
I have spoken to Pam Swain of the BADN and she tells me that the GDC have stated that CPD for DCPs will not be required until 2009, therefore they have not published the requirements.  As soon as they know what the requirements will be, they will make this information available to BADN members through the "British Dental Nurses' Journal" and their website.   Pam recommends that your nurses join the BADN and they will keep up to date with the latest regulations!
