Dental practice manager’s job competences 2007

For the first time, in 2007 we produced a comprehensive document to accompany our annual Dental Practice Manager’s Recommended Pay Scale.

The job description, or job competences document, aims to methodically detail the broad nature of dental practice management responsibilities from the simplest administrative duties through to the more skilled strategic responsibilities involved in planning and forecasting.

The document aims to provide all practice managers with a consistent platform for professional development and greater responsibility, and used in conjunction with the recommended pay scale, to ensure that remuneration is in line with personal progress.
